Men charged over knifepoint robbery attempt at Devizes service station

Two men in connection with the attempted robbery at a Devizes petrol station on Thursday.

The incident took place shortly before 9.30pm at the Esso Garage on The Nursery – no-one was hurt and nothing was stolen.

Samuel Sneyd, 34, of Waiblingen Way, Devizes and Adam Ferrell, 32, of Rawlingswell Lane, Marlborough, have both been charged with attempted robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.

Both have been remanded in custody.
