Man’s body found after emergency services called to welfare concern near Trowbridge

A man’s body was found after police were called to a welfare concern earlier this week.

Emergency services raced an address in the Marsh Road area of Staverton, near Trowbridge, at shortly after 5pm on Tuesday 19 January.

On arrival, a body was found by 999 crews and a man, in his 40s, was pronounced dead.

“His death is not being treated as suspicious and his family has been informed”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said. Adding: “Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.”
