Investigation launched as man stabbed outside Wetherspoon pub in Swindon

A man has been stabbed outside a popular JD Wetherspoon pub in Swindon.

Police responded to reports of an assault in the car park of The Dockle Farmhouse shortly before 9pm yesterday night (7 June).

Officers attended the scene in Bridge End Road, but the suspect was not located.

The victim, a man in his 20s, suffered injuries not described as serious.

Wiltshire Police confirmed the casualty was “reportedly struck with a knife”.

The force has confirmed its “enquiries are ongoing”, with an investigation underway.

Witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting log 311 of yesterday (7 June). Alternatively, anyone with information can contact Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.
