People gathered to watch the drama, as the man became incredibly aggressive towards the police officers – causing them to restrain him on the floor and strap his legs together to stop him kicking.

The 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and public order offences.

He remains in custody at Gablecross Police Station this afternoon.
