Man pronounced dead by paramedics after body found in Corsham alleyway

A man was pronounced dead after his body was discovered in Corsham yesterday morning.

South Western Ambulance Service was called to a report of an unconscious casualty in the alleyway between The Priory and Kings Avenue at around 10.30am.

On arrival, paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

The walkway was cordoned off with police tape whilst officers from Wiltshire Police and the Ministry of Defence Police remained with the man’s body until a private ambulance attended.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and his next of kin has been informed.
