Man pronounced dead after emergency services respond to incident in Swindon

A man’s died following an incident in the Old Town area of Swindon yesterday.

Emergency services responded to reports of a welfare concern in Wood Street at around 9.20pm last night (12 January).

The casualty, a man in his 40s, was rushed to hospital by South Western Ambulance Service but was later pronounced dead.

Wiltshire Police says his death “is not being treated as suspicious”, but an investigation into the incident continues.
