Man pleads guilty to child sex offences following Swindon paedophile hunter sting

A Swindon man who was caught by paedophile hunters last month has pleaded guilty to three child sexual offences at Swindon Crown Court today.

The group Justice4children attended Toothill Village Centre at around 9pm on 19 February, in hunt of Darren Volante who had arranged to meet a child for sex online.

He appeared in court today charged with ‘Adult attempting to meet a girl under 16 years of age following grooming’, ‘Offender 18 or over attempt to cause a child aged 13 to 15 to watch/look at an image of sexual activity’ and ‘Engaging in sexual communication with a child’.

The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to all of the offences and will be sentenced in May.
