Man knocked unconscious during early morning attack by six people in Swindon

Two men were attacked by a group of people during an early morning assault in Swindon.

Wiltshire Police has launched an investigation into the incident, which took place outside Domino’s Pizza in High Street, Old Town, at around 2am today (26 March).

The victims were kicked and punched by a group of around six people.

One of the injured men were knocked unconscious and was rushed to hospital for treatment.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “This was an appalling and sustained attack which left one of the victims requiring hospital treatment.

“If you were involved in any way, we would expect you to do the right thing and contact us immediately.

“This took place on a busy street and it is likely that numerous people will have seen what took place.

“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or may have recorded footage.”
