Man, in 20s, dies after paramedics called to home address in Swindon

A young man has died despite the best efforts of paramedics at an address in Swindon today.

Emergency services were called to a home in Ferndale Road at around midday following reports of a cardiac arrest – several ambulance vehicles and police were parked outside.

A man, in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from Swindon CID and a forensic investigator attended the incident, but the death isn’t being treated as suspicious.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “Shortly before 11.30am yesterday (22/03) we were called to the sudden death of a man in his 20s at an address in Ferndale Road, Swindon.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious.

“Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner.”
