Man, 30s, hospitalised in ‘serious condition’ after Amesbury incident

A man has been rushed to hospital following an incident in Amesbury this morning (Tuesday).

Emergency services were called to Lord’s Walk, off A345 Countess Road, at around 11.30am.

Locals reported seeing a large number of 999 vehicles at the scene – including three ambulances, an ambulance response car and several police vehicles.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed in a field near the scene as the charity critical care crew supported local medics in treating a man, aged in his 30s.

The casualty was stabilised before he was rushed to hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed that officers attended the incident to provide assistance to the ambulance service.
