A man’s been taken to hospital following a mental health incident in Chippenham.
Emergency services attended a property in Dallas Road at around 1pm today (13 September) following concerns for the welfare of a man.
Police officers, an ambulance crew and firefighters were all called to the incident.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they provided assistance to the ambulance service with gaining entry to the property.
Once the patient was accessed behind a locked door, he was taken to the ambulance and transported to the hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “The person was taken to hospital where he will receive suitable care.”
