Police say man accused of drugs offences will be evicted from Corsham home

A man accused of drugs offences will be evicted from his home, Wiltshire Police says.

Around a dozen police officers were involved in conducting a search warrant at his flat in Orchard House, Orchard Road, Corsham, on 8 April last year.

Police dog Boris and his handler PC Simon Goodwin carried out a thorough search of the property following the raid at around 5pm.

The charges relate to a period of time between January 2019 and June 2021 and follows an large-scale investigation by local police team officers.

Whilst proceedings are ongoing in the criminal courts, Wiltshire Police has worked with GreenSquareAccord, which own the flat, to evict him.

“GreenSquareAccord housing association who have worked in partnership with Wiltshire Police in dealing with this case have obtained outright possession of the property”, a spokesperson for the force said.

Adding: “As such Da Silva will be evicted from the address.”
