Man dies following serious medical incident in central Trowbridge

A man’s died in a serious medical incident in central Trowbridge this afternoon (Friday).

Emergency services were called to the scene near Flames kebab shop in Castle Street at around 2.30pm, where it’s said a man in his 30s suffered a cardiac arrest.

Paramedics could be seen dressed in full hazmat suits while attending the emergency, but it’s thought to have been a precautionary measure and not due to the casualty having COVID-19.

A private ambulance arrived at the scene at around 3.20pm, leaving at just after 4pm.

We’ve approached Wiltshire Police for comment.
