When police officers arrived, they collared a man riding a bicycle, aged in his 60s, who is understood to be visiting family in the Swindon area from abroad.

He was taken to Gableross custody for questioning but has since been released on conditional bail.

It’s understood the police seized the man’s passport whilst the investigation is ongoing – to mitigate the risk of him potentially fleeing the country during proceedings.

It’s believed other women and girls may have been targeted by the same man, with at least one other teenage girl reporting a similar incident at the same location last month.

Anyone with information relating to this incident should contact Wiltshire Police by calling 101. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
