Man, 23, arrested after it’s alleged he threatened people outside Wiltshire pub

Police are appealing for witnesses following a disorder in Corsham over the weekend.

Officers were called to the Hare and Hounds pub in Pickwick Road at around 11.50pm on Saturday night (23 October) due to a report that a man was outside the pub making threats to members of the public.

Officers attended and a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray.

He was taken to police custody, interviewed, and has since been released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.

“We would like to speak to any potential witnesses, including any customers in the pub or motorists driving past, in case they have information which may be relevant”, a spokesperson for the force said.
