Body found in search missing Blunsdon man, police confirm

A body has been found in the search for a missing Blunsdon man.

Jason Titcombe, 46, was last seen at his home at The Ridge at around 2.30pm yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 12 April and hadn’t been seen since.

The National Police Air Service helicopter and Wiltshire Search and Rescue (WILSAR) spent much of the night and today searching the local area.

A body has been found by a member of the public on Water Eaton Copse, near Blunsdon, at just after 4pm this afternoon, Thursday 13 April.

The circumstances of the death do not appear suspicious. Formal identification has not yet been completed; this will be completed by the coroner in the next few days.

The family of missing man Jason Titcombe have been informed of this development.
