A major search and rescue training exercise which has been named Exercise Bulrush is to take place in Swindon this weekend.

Wiltshire Search and Rescue, which is also known as WILSAR, will lead a large-scale event at a secret location in the town on Saturday 11 March and Sunday 12 March.

Last year, on 6 March 2016, a similar major search and rescue training day – centred around a high-risk missing person – named Exercise Ironman took place at Lydiard Park.
