M4 slip road in Swindon closed as emergency services rush to coach blaze

A motorway slip road in Swindon is closed after a coach burst into flames.

Emergency services were called to the blaze at around 2.45pm this afternoon (5 May).

A National Express coach appears to have caught fire as it approached Junction 15.

The slip road is expected to remain closed for several hours.

There are delays between junctions 14 and 15 westbound on the M4 as a result of building traffic. There are also some delays on the Junction 15 roundabout.

The ambulance service is in attendance alongside the police and fire service, but it’s not clear if anyone’s been hurt.
