Liden man wanted after victim left with serious injuries in Swindon collision

A 36-year-old man’s been seriously hurt after being hit by a car in Swindon last weekend.

The collision happened in the Liden Arms car park in the early hours of 30 December, where it’s alleged a man deliberately ran down his victim using a car — causing him to be taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with a leg injury.

A crime scene was in place until around midday while forensics attended the scene.

Now, police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of Liden man Lee Goodchild, 37, who is wanted in connection with the incident.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “It is believed Goodchild was driving a vehicle which was in collision with a 36-year-old man who suffered serious leg injuries.

“The victim was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where he remains.

“If anyone has any information about the whereabouts of Goodchild, please call 999 and quote log number 36 of 30 December.”
