Ladies’ romp in Swindon town centre results in criminal charge, police say

A woman’s been charged over an incident in Swindon town centre, police say.

Officers responded to reports of two females engaged in sexual activity at the rear of Iceland in Havelock Square on Thursday afternoon (20 April).

Witnesses alleged the pair were carrying out the acts for around 20 minutes as police arrived at the scene in Granville Street Car Park.

41-year-old Kerry-Ann Horwat, of Harding Street, was arrested following the incident and has since been charged with indecent exposure.

She’s been released on conditional bail to attend Swindon Magistrates’ Court at a later date.

A second woman arrested in connection with events was released without charge.
