Huge emergency response to welfare incident at Swindon car park

Emergency services are currently responding to a welfare incident at a Swindon car park.

There’s a significant police, ambulance and fire service presence at the scene in Farnsby Street this afternoon (Wednesday), according to witnesses.

A male is reportedly in distress on the top floor of the Brunel West multi-storey car park.

A pedestrianised area between Wharf Green and Farnsby Street has been cordoned off by the police.

Within the cordon, there are two ambulance cars, an ambulance and an aerial ladder platform appliance.
