Huge emergency response after person falls from height in Amesbury

Emergency services are currently dealing with a serious incident in Amesbury.

Five fire appliances were sent to reports of a person falling from height in Boscombe Road at around 10.40am this morning (Wednesday, 28 September).

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed a Boscombe Down to attend the scene alongside specialist paramedics and local ambulance crews.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said it sent crews from Salisbury, Andover, Basingstoke, and Eastleigh.

The firefighters are said to be assisting the “ambulance service with the extrication of the casualty” – whose condition is currently unknown.

The incident was ongoing at 11.40am.
