Four fire crews free casualty stuck in car following crash involving bus in Swindon

Four fire crews have freed a casualty stuck in a car following a crash with a bus.

Emergency services were called to Mannington Roundabout in Swindon at around 3pm.

Firefighters from Westlea, Swindon, Cricklade and Trowbridge fire stations attended the scene, according to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A spokesperson said: “One casualty was released from the car and handed over to South West Ambulance Service; no further Fire and Rescue Service actions were required.”
