Solstice Park in Amesbury was evacuated at around 2pm today, following what is understood to be a ‘bomb threat’ made to one of the business park’s occupiers.

McDonald’s, Costa Coffee, KFC, Pizza Hut, Harvester and Toby Carvery and many others were all evacuated and Wiltshire Police closed off the area from the A303 slip-road.

At the time, Wiltshire Police said: “We are currently dealing with an incident at Solstice Park – we received a call reporting a suspicious phone call to a premises at the location.
