Flat in Salisbury raided over concerns about Class A drug dealing

Police have carried out a drugs warrant on a property in Salisbury this morning.

The raid, at Cleeve House off Carmelite Way, at around 8am this morning was over concerns the flat could be linked to the supply and use of Class A drugs.

Local officers, supported by a dog unit, carried out the search warrant but no arrests were made.

Sgt Steve Jolly said: “We are aware that members of the public may have noticed an increased police presence in The Friary area, especially as this was at a time when many people would have been doing the school run.

“I would just like to assure members of the public that we are taking a robust approach to ensure that our communities are kept safe and criminals feel the full force of the law.”
