Five ambulance crews and firefighters called to help bariatric casualty in Salisbury

Five ambulance crews and a fire engine were called to help a bariatric patient in Salisbury this morning.

Two ambulances, two rapid response cars, a fire crew and Wiltshire Air Ambulance attended an address in Saunders Avenue, Riverdown Park, at around 9am today, Monday 8 January.

It’s believed a female bariatric (weighing over 25 stone) patient who’d suffered a medical episode.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service helped to remove the casualty from the address.
