Firefighters use fan to clear Salisbury property of smoke after microwave fire

Firefighters have attended a fire in a microwave in Salisbury this morning.

Two fire crews were called to a property in Essex Square, Harnham, at around 10.15am after smoke was spotted filling the address.

The fire – in a microwave – was out on arrival. Firefighters used a positive pressure ventilation (PPV) fan to clear the smoke from the property.
