Firefighters rescue person trapped after telegraph pole crash in Malmesbury

Firefighters have rescued a person from an overturned car in Malmesbury this evening.

The hatchback, thought to be a black Ford Fiesta, left the road and then collided with a telegraph pole on Shipton Moyne Road at around 6pm today, Saturday 23 December.

One person, with only very minor injuries, was rescued by fire crews from Tetbury and Malmesbury.

The road reopened shortly after 8.30pm following recovery of the car.
