Firefighters remove part of garage wall to rescue trapped Border Collie

Firefighters have rescued a dog from between two walls in Salisbury today.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent one crew to the scene in Firs Road, Firsdown, at shortly after 4pm following a report of the trapped Border Collie.

Firefighters from Salisbury, alongside fire officer Tom Brolan, worked to free the 11-year-old pet called Hatton by removing part of a domestic garage wall.

The crew used small tools to undertake the successful rescue and it’s not believed that Border Collie Hatton was injured in the incident.
