Firefighters extricate casualty from car after two-vehicle collision near Purton

Emergency services have attended a two-car crash between in the Purton Stoke area.

The road traffic collision, in Packhorse Lane at around 3pm, involved a silver Honda and a silver Skoda.

One of the occupants of the Honda was extricated by firefighters from Westlea and Cricklade.

The casualty was left in the care of South Western Ambulance Service. No one’s thought to have been seriously hurt in the crash.

At 5pm, the road remained closed but is expected to reopen shortly.
