Three fire crews race to Swindon sheltered housing block as fire alarms sound

Three fire crews were called to a Swindon sheltered housing block this afternoon.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service raced to George Hall Court at Cavendish Square in Park South at around 12.40pm today, to reports of fire alarms actuating.

On arrival, it was found that the alarms were set off by fumes from cooking.
