Everyone convicted at Swindon and Wiltshire magistrate courts on 25 January 2021

Mr Stephen Buckingham, 50, of Okus Road, Swindon, was given 5 points on his licence and fined £230 with a victim services payment of £32 and costs of £100 after being found guilty of failing to stop after an accident in a Vauxhall Vivaro van, and failing to give his details or report the accident to the police. He was fined a further £115 after being found guilty of driving without due care and attention in Swindon on 9 July 2019.

Mr George Turner, 27, of The Signals Mercia Regiment, was fined £840 with a victim services payment of £84 and costs of £85 after pleading guilty to threatening behaviour motivated by hostility towards sexual orientation, and being drunk and disorderly in Swindon on 22 July 2020.

Mr Jamie Taylor (aka Jamie Adams, Jamie Rygh, Jay Rygh, James Taylor), 28, of Charlotte Square, Trowbridge, was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £320 with a victim services payment of £32 and costs of £85 after changing his to plea to guilty for driving a BMW 120D under the influence of cannabis in Trowbridge on 29 February 2020.

Mr Timothy Cooper, 38, of Forty Acres Road, Devizes, was fined £50 with a victim services payment of £34 after pleading guilty to possession of 2 grams of cocaine in Devizes on 29 July 2020.

Mr Jordan Green, 34, of Willow Grove, Trowbridge, was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £50 with a victim services payment of £34 after pleading guilty to driving a Ford Fiesta under the influence of cannabis in Trowbridge on 24 January 2020.

Mr Aaron Haynes, 25, of Alder Close, Swindon, was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £200 with a victim services payment of £34 after pleading guilty to riding a Piaggio while unfit through drugs, driving without due care and attention, failing to stop, and possession of cannabis in Swindon on 17 December 2019.

Mr Bradley Mitchell, 23, of Bowden Hill, Lacock, was given a community order for 80 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay compensation totalling £300 with a victim services payment of £85 after pleading guilty to assaulting 2 police officers in Chippenham on 16 June 2020.

Mr Richard Pearson, 57, of High Street, Pewsey, was given 10 points on his licence and fined £50 with a victim services payment of £34 after pleading guilty to drink driving in a Peugeot 307 in Devizes on 5 August 2020.

Mr Peter Lusty, 33, of Groves Street, Swindon, was fined £120 after pleading guilty to possession of cannabis and methadone in Swindon on 8 September 2020. He was fined a further £120 with a victim services payment of £34 and costs of £85 after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine in Swindon on 5 May 2020.


Mr Billy-Jo Cosgrave, 24 of Swindon, was given a 6-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months after pleading guilty to assault in a domestic violence case in Swindon on 17 October 2020. He was given a further 4-month prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £30 with a victim services payment of £32 and costs of £85 after pleading guilty to theft of a Japanese Tea Grinder in Swindon on 10 December 2019.

Mr George Green, 28, of Shaftesbury Avenue, Swindon, was ordered to pay £1500 compensation with costs of £85 after pleading guilty to criminal damage in Swindon on 23 October 2019.

Mr Gary Hines, 37, of The Maltings, Royal Wootton Bassett, was given a 6-week prison sentence suspended for 2 years, given a restraining order, and ordered to pay compensation of £150 with costs of £85 after pleading guilty to assault in a domestic violence case in Swindon on 27 December 2019 and 9 February 2020, and harassment in a domestic violence case in Swindon between 9 February 2020 and 1 March 2020.

Mr David Hodgson, 47, of Mill View, Purton, was banned from driving for 18 months and given a community order for 150 hours unpaid work with a victim services payment of £90 and costs of £620 after being found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of blood in Swindon on 11 December 2019.

Mr Brian Scott, 44, of Exmouth Street, Swindon, was placed in a sex offender programme, with a victim services payment of £95 and costs of £85 after pleading guilty to acting in an indecent manner by walking around naked and performing a sex act in Swindon on 20 May 2020.

Mrs Tracy Short, 49, of Albany Close, Swindon, was ordered to pay £530 compensation after pleading guilty to criminal damage of a motorbike in Swindon on 19 July 2020.

Mr Lee Willis, 35, of Ferndale Road, Swindon was fined £70 with costs of £60 after admitting failing to comply with a community order for unpaid work.
