Emergency services including an air ambulance at scene of incident in Marlborough

A casualty’s been seriously injured when they became entangled in a banister this afternoon.

Emergency services, including Wiltshire Air Ambulance, were called to the Castle and Ball Hotel on High Street in Marlborough at around 4pm today.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent one fire crew and a Operational Support Unit to assist with the release of the patient, whose legs were entangled in a banister.

Wiltshire Police also attended the scene.
