Emergency services called incident involving ‘two men slumped in the street’

Emergency services are currently attending an incident involving ‘two men slumped in the street’.

Three police cars and an ambulance are at the scene in Newport Street, Swindon, and have been since around 11.30am.

One witness told Wiltshire 999s that one of the casualties was refusing help from paramedics, but the other is being seen to in the back of ambulance.

The nature of the incident isn’t known, but it’s thought it could be drugs-related.

There are some minor delays in the area caused by 999 vehicles’ parking.
