The allegations all relate to an incident emergency services attended at a flat in High Street shortly after 3pm on Friday (6 October) – in which a woman sustained multiple knife wounds.

It’s claimed Taylor slashed the victim, aged in her 20s, across her hands and fingers. When the knife was dropped, it’s said that Parham picked it up and stabbed the victim in her upper back.

Paramedics, supported by critical care medics from Wiltshire Air Ambulance, attend the scene to provide treatment for injuries described as “quite serious” in court.

Parham, of High Street, Melksham, and Taylor, formerly of High Street, Melksham, were remanded in custody to appear at Salisbury Crown Court for a plea hearing on 9 November.

At the height of the incident, several ambulance service vehicles – including the Wiltshire Air Ambulance rapid response car – were in attendance alongside around six police units.
