A white saloon car left the road, ploughed through a garden and struck the house on the junction with Headlands Grove.

The incident resulted in damage to the property – which is thought to be derelict.

It’s believed firefighters were called to the smash due to the vehicle impacting the house.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson confirmed that officers were called to the scene and the driver was subsequently “reported for careless driving”.

“A structural engineer has checked the building, which is thought to be unoccupied, to ensure it is safe”, they added.
