A young man has been attacked by a dog, and then its owner, in Chippenham.

At around 1pm this afternoon – during the family fun day at John Coles Park – a small German Shepherd-type dog came up to an 18-year-old man, allegedly biting his hand and puncturing the skin in two places.

Following the bite, the dog’s owner allegedly came up to the man, grabbed him around the neck and caused bruising on both sides of his neck.
