Detectives called to investigate fire in garden of Swindon home

Detectives are investigation a small fire at a house in Swindon this evening.

Emergency services were called to the address in Frobrisher Drive, Walcot, at around 9pm.

Eight police units and three fire crews attended the incident, along with fire commanders, an ambulance and three detectives from Swindon CID.

999 CREWS AT THE SCENE IN WALCOT

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they attended the incident and extinguished a pile of rubbish ablaze at the rear of a home. The back of the house also suffered some damage.

Wiltshire 999s understands that the fire may have been started deliberately, and that the fire service were called to the same house earlier this week.
