Cyclist taken to hospital following road traffic collision near Corsham

A cyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash near Corsham.

The incident happened on the B3109 Bradford Road near to the entrance road to Wadswick Country Store at around 8am this morning, Tuesday 18 July.

It’s understood that a car and a cyclist collided; it’s not know who was to blame.

The cyclist, who suffered unknown injuries, was treated at the roadside until an ambulance arrived. He was transported to hospital by road ambulance.

A witness told Wiltshire 999s that they saw a man led down on the grass at the scene with the police, before an ambulance had arrived.

At 10pm, when our photographer arrived at the scene, a woman was sitting in the back of a Tri-force Roads Policing Unit vehicle talking to a police officer.
