Cyclist, 20s, tragically killed in crash with car on A338 south of Salisbury

A cyclist has tragically died in a crash with a car on the A338 south of Salisbury.

Emergency services attended the incident at around 5pm yesterday (6 November) following reports of the riding being struck by a car at the junction for Bodenham.

The cyclist, a man in his 20s, sustained significant injuries and despite the best efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.

they added: “Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have dash cam footage are asked to contact the serious collision investigation team at Headquarters on 01225 694597 quoting log number 0203.

“Alternatively, you can contact the team directly on [email protected].”
