Cyclist, 50, rushed to hospital with head injury after crash with car in Swindon

A cyclist was taken to hospital with a head injury after a crash in Swindon.

Emergency services were called to the traffic collision on Transfer Bridges at 8.05pm last night (29 March).

Two vehicles, a red Vauxhall Corsa was in collision with a Peugeot bicycle, were involved.

The cyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to Great Western Hospital with a head injury.

The driver of the Corsa was not injured.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We’d like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who may have dash cam footage which could be relevant to our investigation.

“Please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220032215. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
