Counter-terrorism police confirm nerve agent was used on former Russian spy and daughter

Counter-terrorism police investigating the major incident in Salisbury say they are now treating it as a attempted murder investigation.

They have also confirmed that a nerve agent was used in the attack.

A police officer who initially responded to the incident on Sunday remains in hospital in a serious condition.
