A Chippenham sex offender has been pictured for the first time after his release from prison.
65-year-old pervert Graham Bridgeman was jailed after he targeted eleven schoolgirls by masturbating at them outside his bungalow in Allington Way.
The six incidents – all similarly abhorrent in nature – took place between June 2022 and June 2023, with the victims aged between nine and 15.
As previously reported by Wiltshire 999s, Swindon Crown Court heard that he would stand at his garden gate naked from the waist down whilst touching his penis with vigour.
Crown prosecutor Jack Barry said that during one of the incidents a 13-year-old girl “told the defendant off” and he “took issue with that and chased her down the street”. On another date, Bridgeman was naked and masturbating at a group of four girls – all aged 11 to 12.
The defendant didn’t want to undertake rehabilitation and the probations service subsequently said they couldn’t manage him in the community – and labelled him a high risk of reoffending.
Recorder Mittell sent him to prison for 48 weeks. He was told to register as a sex offender for ten years.
As part of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order imposed at the same hearing, he is banned unsupervised contact with children, loitering near children or going within 100 metres of a school.
Bridgeman was released from prison in recent days and he has since been pictured in the street.
