Cerney Wick pub severely damaged in blaze as 25 firefighters fight flames

Approximately 25 firefighters fought a blaze at a pub on the Wiltshire border overnight.

Emergency services were called to The Crown Inn, in Cerney Wick, in the Cotswold Water Park, at around 11pm yesterday (Sunday 26 March).

Six fire engines and an aerial ladder appliance were in attendance at the height of the incident – which was located less than 100 metres over the county border, in Gloucestershire.

Fire crews from Cricklade and Stratton (Swindon) assisted at the scene.

All occupants within the building were out safely before the arrival of 999 responders.
