Bus passenger injured in collision with Openreach van in Chippenham

A Faresaver bus was involved in a collision with a parked van in Chippenham this morning.

Police officers are currently at the scene of the crash in Bath Road, which happened a short distance from the Bridge Centre roundabout, at around 11.30am.

The X34 service struck the rear end of an Openreach van parked on the pavement near the Lowden Hill junction.

An ambulance was called for a male passenger on the bus who suffered minor cuts to his leg.

The road remains open but is partially blocked by the emergency services and damaged bus.
