BREAKING NEWS: Car fails to stop after hitting pedestrian in Swindon

A car has failed to stop at the scene of a crash after they hit a pedestrian in Swindon town centre.

Emergency services are currently at the scene of the collision, which has left a man who appears to be in his 60s, with a leg injury.

Manchester Road is blocked between Alyesbury Street and Wellington Street, since the crash at 11.15am.

The offending driver has been identified by police and has been stopped in relation to this collision, according to a roads policing officer at the scene. No arrests have been made.
