Biker killed in A429 crash involving three vehicles near Cirencester

A biker was killed in a crash involving three vehicles on the A429 near Cirencester.

Great Western Air Ambulance alongside other emergency crews attended the scene in the Fosse Cross area at around 1.15pm yesterday (Sunday 14 May).

The incident, close to The Stump pub, involved a motorbike and two cars – a BMW and a Skoda.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 50s and from the Oxford area, died at the scene. His family and the coroner have been informed.

The occupants of the two cars involved did not sustain any injuries.

The road was closed between Cirencester and Northleach until early this morning (Monday) while collision investigation work took place.

Anyone who witnessed the collision but has not spoken to police can call 101 or information can be provided online by completing the following form and quoting incident 208 of 14 May.
