Armed cops called as feud between Pinehurst and Penhill gangs continues

Armed police officers have responded to a fight involving a group of youths in Swindon.

Around ten police units were called to the incident on The Bungalows off Beech Avenue at just before 4pm this afternoon, where it’s understood weapons were involved.

It’s believed the disorder is part of the ongoing feud between gangs in Pinehurst and Penhill.

A local resident told Wiltshire 999s that they saw one of the teenagers ‘waving a hammer’, and another ‘had a knife’. She commented that Pinehurst is “getting worse and worse by the day”.

Wiltshire Police has confirmed they were called to the scene, but wouldn’t comment further while the incident was ongoing. An update is expected tomorrow.
