Air ambulance called to Swindon crash as man sustains neck injuries

An air ambulance was called to a crash in Swindon after a man sustained neck injuries.

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision close to Kembrey Street, off Cricklade Road, at around 9.30pm last night (Friday 10 March).

Wiltshire Air Ambulance was called to the scene but is believed to have been stood down on arrival.

One of the vehicles left the carriageway and reportedly impacted a tree, several witnesses claim.

A man, aged in his 20s, was rushed to hospital with a possible neck fracture.

Wiltshire Police say investigations into the collision are ongoing and asked witnesses – or anyone with daashcam footage – to call 101 quoting log number 346 of 10 March.
