A361: Man and woman seriously injured in crash involving tractor

A man and woman were seriously injured in a crash involving a tractor on the A361.

Emergency services, including Wiltshire Air Ambulance, were called to a road traffic collision in Marston Road, Frome, at around 5.20pm on Tuesday 27 June.

A Volkswagen Transporter van, a Volkswagen Caddy van and a tractor were involved in the incident – which sparked a significant 999 response.

A man and woman sustained serious injuries, whilst two others – including a child – avoided serious wounds.

One of the casualties was airlifted to Southmead Hospital’s Major Trauma Centre in Bristol by Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
